is it possible for vaginal diseases/vaginal discomfort to be genetic?
my sister told me that vaginal problems run in our family, but im not sure if shes tricking me or not. i kind of beleive her because its happening to me, and my older sisters have it, and my mom too, and my grandma supposedly did as well.

I know of no vaginal disease that is passed on. Women of all ages have vaginal problems, and discomfort, such as yeast infections, discharges, and even herpes. But these are not from the genes, other than all of the people you mentioned are female. My mother had something, I did/do, my daughter does, her children do (all girls), but it is because we are women and sadly, women seem to have lots of discomfort in that area. As long as we keep it clean and make sure the men in our lives are only with us and not other women, you can be sure you will have less problems than other women who "sleep" around. There are so many diseases spread by intercourse, so it is especially important to be selective in lovers.
Welcome to the world of women. By the way, men have discharges, etc; not as much as we do, of course, because we have periods, etc. but they do have their problems. They just don’t talk about them, and sadly, sometimes pass them on to us.

I don’t see why dryness couldn’t be hereditary, or susceptibility to yeast infections, but I’m not sure about other things

there are vaginal symptoms of a particular disease that is herediatry, it is called diabetes type 2.
having diabetes type 2 can cause chronic yeast infections due to sugar build up in urine.
