Since my wife’s complete hysterectomy she has no desire for sex?
any tips on what we can do to increase her desire. We do have sex on a fairly regular basis and it is usually fair to good. But the whole time she has no desire though she is lucky enough to still get orgasms. We cannot afford the hormone pills, maybe a cream or something she could use?

Your wife should talk honestly with a good endocrinologist.
Natural (naturally compounded) HRT doesn’t have to be terribly expensive and can be a lifesaver!
Good luck to you!

HRT’s are really your only hope here -
She has no hormones left after the surgery – these are essential to a womans sex drive

There is several hormonal vaginal creams that can help but once again they are expensive. You have to be careful with them though because they are not for a woman who has had cancer or has a history of breast or ovarian cancer in her family.
I am glad that you are a considerate lover and not a loser who goes out prowling for sex elsewhwere. There should be a lot more to marriage then just sex and some guys never get that part of the promise.

this is totally normal. The ovaries secrete estrogen and many other hormones that affect your sex drive. Sorry to hear that she cant afford the meds to help her out. They are very expensive if you dont have insurance. Im not sure what else you can do in this case. Nothing much to be honest. Its like she has hit menopause already b/c she has no ovaries. I hope you can be patient and continue to love her the same b/c one day you will also slow down. I have to give her credit that she still is having sex on a regular basis to please you. You are lucky in that sense and she is very lucky that she can have an orgasm.
I would try talking to a doctor to see if there is a natural remedy she can take or if he has any meds that are samples so you can get them free or get a discount.
The only other thing i can think of is using sex tools to stimulate like movies or toys? Im not sure if this will work.

Women who have had a hysterectomy may experience a decline in libido and sexual pleasure, usually as a result of vaginal dryness, which can in turn cause pain and even bleeding during sex. She should talk to her doctor about the possibility of testosterone therapy. It may not be an appropriate treatment for her, and it also may not work. Many women are advised not to undergo hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for a variety of reasons. Women who cannot undergo HRT have more limited options because HRT tends to alleviate symptoms of vaginal dryness. Women who are unable to undergo full hormone replacement therapy should discuss with their doctor the possibility of using some specific estrogen products. Some estrogen products, rather than having an effect throughout the body, can be applied directly to the vulva and inserted into the vagina to produce local changes that will not effect the rest of the body. Promestriene is an example of this, as it counteracts the loss of hormones to the vagina but not to other parts of the body. However, there is a small amount of adsorption into the blood stream, so not all women will be able to use these.
